ANDY OLSON

Director of Business Development

Hello everyone! My name is Andy Olson, and I enjoy what I do daily. Unfortunately, not many people can say that, but I work with a team I call family. My time here at Crowder’s Landscaping has been short, but I’ve been fortunate to have known Patrick

Crowder for over three years.

I am originally from Wisconsin and a Retired Veteran. I served over 22 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator Pavement Specialist in the United States Air Force. I was assigned to “RED HORSE” Engineering Squadron for most of my career and retired from the Air Force in 2011 from Langley Air Force Base Virginia. The military honored me with many Service Medals. Still, I’m very fond of our Operations Flight earning the Major General Clifton D. Wright Award as Air Combat Command’s “Best Ops Flight” just before retiring. 

After the military, I was the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor at Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport in Newport News, Virginia.  There I maintained over 1,800 property acres of runways, taxiways, aircraft ramps, and airport grounds. 

After my children graduated high school and started attending college, I gravitated to Florida’s warm weather and USF’s campus. In 2020, I was hired as USF’s Grounds Manager, where I was introduced to Patrick Crowder. I joined the Crowder team in 2022

as the Director of Procurement and have the pleasure of meeting with many new people daily. I take pride in what I do, putting customers first, and going beyond my role to ensure you have a worry-free experience.
