Originally from Nicaragua, Roberto Centeno found his way into landscaping while living in California—thanks to a friend who introduced him into the world of landscaping. What began as a job quickly turned into a passion. For Roberto, landscaping is more than just planting and digging; it’s about bringing life and color into the world. Nature speaks to him, and through each installation, he listens.



As Crowders Landscaping’s Installation Manager, Roberto leads by example. You won’t find him on the sidelines—he believes a true leader works right beside the crew, sweating and striving together. He’s never afraid to get his hands dirty to ensure every project meets the highest standard of quality.

Roberto is motivated by two things: his family and a happy client. Whether it’s a big install or a small detail, he brings heart, hustle, and pride to every square foot.

Outside of work, he’s all about quality time—road trips, movies, basketball, baseball, and boxing are some of his favorite ways to unwind. His favorite quote? “In life, you don’t always do what you want—you do what you have to do. Trust in God and do the right thing.”

If he could have a superpower, it’d be to be in multiple places at once (which would come in handy on install days!). And here’s a fun fact—people think he doesn’t eat much, but the truth is, he can out-eat anyone he knows. If he weren’t in landscaping, you’d probably find him saving lives as a firefighter or helping others reach their goals as a personal trainer.
