Mike Arneson

Operations Manager, Maintenance Department

Born in the tiny town of Gwin, Michigan, Mike Arneson didn’t set out to join the landscaping world—it found him. While studying at USF, a buddy offered him a job at Nanak’s Landscape. He said yes... and then stuck around for 22 years. Now with over three decades of experience, Mike runs the show on the maintenance side at Crowder's Landscaping, and makes it look easy.

Armed with certifications from FNGLA, BMP, and CPOLI, plus a natural knack for time management (and a bilingual tongue), Mike has a sixth sense for turning ordinary properties into head-turners. He jokes that landscaping “isn’t work” to him—and it shows. He’s all in, every day, and takes serious pride in doing things right the first time.

When he's not making your lawn look better than your neighbor’s, Mike’s probably spending time with his family, hanging out with his animals, or knee-deep in a river panning for gold—not for profit, just because it’s cool. He also loves saltwater fishing, and if he had a superpower, it’d be flying—mostly to skip Tampa traffic.

Favorite saying? “When in doubt, go without,” straight from Grandma. Oh, and he played violin for 17 years—just in case you thought you had more range.
