Hailing from Ohio, Matt Ryan got his start in the landscaping world early, buying his first mower at just 16. While he’s built his career through real-world experience, Matt is always looking to level up. He continually sharpens his skills through courses from Hunter and Site One, with his most recent achievement being a deeper dive into drainage systems.



As Irrigation Supervisor at Crowders Landscaping, Matt is the go-to guy for all things wet—and he loves it. Whether he’s installing, troubleshooting, or fine-tuning irrigation systems, he’s happiest when he’s hands-on, making sure everything runs smoothly.

An old soul at heart, Matt embraces the “super old school” mindset but prefers to be out in the field, getting things done the right way. He’s motivated by the hustle—and the paycheck that comes with it—but his true pride comes from being a dad. His mentor taught him a key lesson: “Sell Time”—because in this business, efficiency is everything.

When he’s not running irrigation projects, you’ll find Matt on his fishing boat or, as he’d prefer, just chilling in the A/C.
